Now that's what you call a healthy repetition
ALL those gym junkies working out at Castle Hill RSL Club's C2K Fitness Centre over Christmas can do so knowing they are at the best facility in the state. C2K was recently named as NSW Large Fitness Business of the Year in the 2008 Fitness Industry Awards of Excellence for the second year in a row. Manager Carlos Garcia said winning consecutive titles was a great feeling.
"The award signifies the hard work and dedication shown by our staff over the last five years ... focused on improving the health and lifestyles of the Hills Shire community," he said.
"The friendly service culture we have worked so hard to achieve and maintain has resulted in a first-class atmosphere for both members and staff."
Since winning last year's award, the club has improved its exercise programs, including boot camp, junior boot camp, greatest loser weight loss program, fight club and dance club.
The 2008 Fitness Industry Awards of Excellence are a national program, with state-based winners being announced over the last few months, and national winners early next year.
C2K is now a finalist in the National Fitness Business of the Year awards for 2008. The club runs group fitness programs, dance, personal training, gymnastics and swimming lessons.
It is also involved in the local community as a supporter of the Cancer Council's Hills Relay for Life, City to Surf, Oxfam Trial Walker and schools and charities, including the Northcott Society.
